Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caleb Huber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Turner!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Huber.

Huber gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Turner to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Turner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Turner wants to control from the top but Huber keeps moving.
Huber wants to stand up but Turner is controlling him.
Turner throwing strikes but missing.

Turner stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Turner tries a head kick but it misses.
Turner is looking to clinch but Huber is avoiding it.
Huber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Turner fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huber misses with a takedown attempt - Turner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caleb Huber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turner tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Huber counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Turner lands a head kick!


It looks like Caleb Huber has been cut.
Jason Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turner rushes Huber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Turner breaks the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Huber digs a good body shot into Turner's ribs.

Huber ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Turner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Huber counters with a one-two to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Turner misses with a head kick.
Turner throws a lazy head kick
and Huber counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Turner shoots and misses
enabling Huber to counter with a crisp jab.

and Huber counters with a two punch combo.

Turner misses with a few strikes there.
Turner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Huber misses with a jab, cross combination.
Turner misses with a body punch
and Huber counters with a series of strikes. Turner will be more careful next time no doubt.
Turner shoots in for a takedown but Huber shows good takedown defense.
Huber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Huber scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Turner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Huber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Turner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Turner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Huber has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Huber and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Turner is looking to clinch but Huber is avoiding it.
Turner tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Huber counters by moving into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Huber is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Turner pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Huber changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Turner fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Turner fails in his attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Turner dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Caleb Huber's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Turner tries to close the distance and clinch but Huber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Huber closes this distance looking for a takedown but Turner circles away.
Huber tries to clinch but Turner is having none of it.

Huber tries to keep at a distance but Turner has taken the fight into the clinch.
Turner is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Turner lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Huber fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caleb Huber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Turner tries a knee to the head but Huber blocks it.
A shot in the inside from Turner.
Turner lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.


Huber is rocked!
Turner lands an elbow inside.
Oh Huber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Turner gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Huber regains guard.
Turner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Turner stands up from guard. Let's bang!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Huber leaves Turner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Turner lands a huge takedown. Huber is out but the ref is slow to react and Turner lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Huber lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Turner!
