The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nealson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Nealson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nealson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hassan.
Hassan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Basics -LOD- in the buildup to the fight.
Hassan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nealson was well out of range. Poor timing from Hassan.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hassan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nealson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Hassan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Nealson has his foot on Hassan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hassan works his way back into a safe position though.
Hassan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hassan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hassan is in close to Nealson's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hassan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nealson on the ground.

Hassan postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Nealson's head off the mat! Nealson is out! He's out! Hassan jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
