The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beach listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
dos Passos takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Beach throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Beach walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. dos Passos checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Beach misses with a head kick.
dos Passos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Beach finds it's way round the side to connect with dos Passos's head.
Beach throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Beach has dos Passos up against the cage in a clinch.
Beach tries a body shot but dos Passos blocks it.
Beach digs a right hand underneath dos Passos's ribcage. dos Passos let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Beach breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Beach fakes high and swings low for a body shot but dos Passos manages to avoid it.
dos Passos has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from dos Passos there as he acknowledges the shot.
dos Passos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Beach can pounce on him.
dos Passos ducks right into an uppercut from Beach.
dos Passos is rocked!
dos Passos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
dos Passos is still on wobbly legs! Can Beach finish him?
Beach throws a leg kick which misses dos Passos's front leg but catches the back leg as dos Passos tries to avoid it.
Beach lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Beach is looking to slow dos Passos down with leg kicks.
Beach fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and dos Passos has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Beach moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

dos Passos seems to have recovered his senses.
Beach pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Beach slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

dos Passos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
dos Passos has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Beach.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Beach.
Beach throws a leg kick which misses dos Passos's front leg but catches the back leg as dos Passos tries to avoid it.
Beach connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Beach throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
dos Passos on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Beach. Beach obviously looking to wear him down.
That kick from Beach tenderised dos Passos's leg. dos Passos is trying to keep his angry face on.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
dos Passos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

August Beach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Beach. That's going to slow dos Passos down.
