Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potasu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dyson.

Dyson cracks Potasu with an open hand slap.
Potasu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dyson throws out a loose jab but Potasu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Potasu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dyson throws out the jab.
Dyson loads up on a big right hand but Potasu slips the punch.
Potasu throws a poor cross that misses

Dyson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Potasu is out of range and Dyson settles back down.
Dyson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dyson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Potasu looks to throw the jab but Dyson is out of range.
Potasu misses with a jab, cross combination.

Dyson darts in and clinches Potasu up against the cage.
Dyson misses with a hook from the clinch.
Potasu tries to stall but Dyson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A head punch on the inside from Dyson fails to land.
Potasu trying to stall but Dyson improves his position.
A shot in the inside from Dyson.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dyson.
Dyson misses with some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Potasu fails to land.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Dyson lands an uppercut.
Potasu is looking to control Dyson's arms but Dyson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Potasu has his back to the cage.

I was talking to Potasu's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dyson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Dyson throws a punch but it's blocked by Potasu.
Potasu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Potasu is breathing heavily.
Dyson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dyson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Potasu is looking to control Dyson's arms but Dyson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Potasu has his back to the cage.
Potasu throws a head punch that misses.

Potasu blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dyson lands with a right to the head.
Potasu blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Potasu is trying to maintain a safe position but Dyson gets an underhook and turns Potasu into the cage.
Potasu blocks an uppercut.
Dyson blocks an elbow strike from Potasu.
Dyson misses with the head strike.

Potasu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Potasu tests Dyson's chin there with a solid looking shot.


It looks like Philip Dyson has been cut.
Dyson feints a jab and as Potasu dips his head, Dyson unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Potasu right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Potasu falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Dyson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Philip Dyson!
Our winner, Philip Dyson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
