Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taj Yaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Taj Yaya was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaya doesn't manage to clinch there - Hopkins circles away.
Hopkins is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Yaya uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hopkins.
Yaya shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Yaya avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hopkins loads up on a big right hand but Yaya slips the punch.
Hopkins connects with a right hand. Yaya shakes it off.
Hopkins scores with a punch to the head.

We've been informed that Yaya has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oooooh!!! Hopkins has knocked Yaya down with a huge combo! Hopkins steps away and waves a wobbly Yaya back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Taj Yaya has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Hopkins lands a beautiful left hook that drops Yaya. Yaya tries to recover but Hopkins is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Yaya lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
