The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manning gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Manning is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Torrens is aware though and is defending well.
Torrens scoring with some ground and pound.
Torrens has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Manning is looking to stand up but Torrens isn't so interested in that idea.

Manning is rocked!
Torrens postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Manning covers up, he's hurt! Torrens keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Torrens and the ref steps in to end the fight! Torrens can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonathan Torrens!
A very excited looking Jonathan Torrens rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
