Filgueiras has chosen Whipping Post - The Allman Brothers Band as his entrance music. Helio Filgueiras has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Helio Filgueiras has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James tests Filgueiras's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Filgueiras fakes a jab and throws a low kick but James checks it well.
James throws out a loose jab but Filgueiras uses good head movement to avoid it.
James attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Filgueiras looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Filgueiras throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
James throws a body punch but Filgueiras moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Filgueiras there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
James takes a swing at Filgueiras's ribcage but misses.
James swings away with a body shot that misses
and Filgueiras counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
James scores with the left hand. Filgueiras knows he should have avoided that one.
That has opened up Helio Filgueiras's cut even more.
James has taken the fight to the clinch.
James lands a body punch.
Filgueiras wants to break the clinch but can't.

Filgueiras looks winded!
James digs a right hand into Filgueiras's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Filgueiras's gas tank.

James presses Filgueiras against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

James pushes Filgueiras back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
James tries to land a leg kick but Filgueiras saw it coming and moves away.
Peter James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Filgueiras blocks a low kick nicely.
Filgueiras ducks right into an uppercut from James.

Filgueiras is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. James doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Filgueiras crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Filgueiras's bad books for that mishap!
