Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Parantainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Adams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gaslight Anthem - Boxer. Parantainen has chosen Eminem - White America as his entrance music. Gregory Adams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Adams, as that shot connected.
It looks like Jaakko Parantainen has been cut.
Parantainen blocks a low kick nicely.
Parantainen lands a nice shot that snaps Adams's head back.
Parantainen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Adams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Parantainen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Adams has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gregory Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parantainen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Adams. Parantainen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice straight punches there by Adams. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Adams.
Parantainen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Parantainen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
It looks like Gregory Adams has been cut.

Adams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Parantainen missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Adams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parantainen on the ground.
Adams tries to roll over but Parantainen keeps him under control.
Parantainen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Parantainen throwing shots but Adams is blocking nicely.
Parantainen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Adams's head.
Parantainen is looking for a kimura here.
Adams is staying active underneath Parantainen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Parantainen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Adams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parantainen is working away from the top position though.

Parantainen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Adams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Parantainen.
Adams is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parantainen pulls his head out easily.
Parantainen not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Parantainen passes into side control, despite Adams's attempt to control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parantainen cracks Adams with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Gregory Adams's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gregory Adams's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A less than humble Jaakko Parantainen misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
