And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benton scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Benton lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like William Shimazu has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Benton digs a good hook to Shimazu's body.
Benton lands a leg kick that knocks Shimazu off balance momentarily.
Shimazu avoids the body shot from Benton.
Benton lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Shimazu tries to clinch but Benton moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Benton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shimazu swivels and escapes.
Glenn Benton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shimazu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A punch lands to the side of Shimazu 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Shimazu is rocked!
Benton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shimazu tries to avoid it but Benton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shimazu to the ground. Shimazu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shimazu is still on wobbly legs! Can Benton finish him?
Benton lands with a right and another and another! Shimazu is in big trouble! Benton lands again and this time it's lights out for Shimazu! A quality knockout there for Benton.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Glenn Benton!
