Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Olaff Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock lands a head shot.
Peterson shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnny Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Peterson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Shamrock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No luck for Peterson with that takedown attempt.
Johnny Shamrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olaff Peterson.
Shamrock scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Shamrock throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Shamrock scores with a sloppy right hand. Peterson should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shamrock throws a jab but it's blocked by Peterson.
Shamrock moves into range and connects with a jab.
Shamrock throws out a loose jab but Peterson uses good head movement to avoid it.
A thudding body kick lands there by Shamrock!
Shamrock is looking to slow Peterson down with leg kicks.
A lazy left from Shamrock finds it's target.

Shamrock plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Peterson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Shamrock.
Decent striking displayed by Shamrock there.
Peterson fails with the takedown
and Shamrock counters with a body kick that stops Peterson in his tracks momentarily.
Peterson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Shamrock is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Peterson.
Shamrock throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Olaff Peterson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shamrock cracks Peterson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Peterson is rocked!
Shamrock throws a nice inside leg kick.
Shamrock thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Peterson if he has to take too many more of those.
Shamrock comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Peterson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Peterson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shamrock.
Peterson is still on wobbly legs! Can Shamrock finish him?
Shamrock throws a quick head kick that knocks Peterson silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Shamrock is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

After the fight, Johnny Shamrock was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
