The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray tries to clinch up.
Rain closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ray to the mat! Ray manages to get full guard.
Ray is adopting a defensive guard.
Rain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rain preventing the sweep.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ray is on top in guard.
Ray won't allow Rain to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rain keeps trying to improve his position.
Rain is trying to control the position but Ray postures up.

Rain is trying to push Ray off with his feet but Ray grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Rain's ankles and Rain is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
