Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remy LeBeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loz Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Remy LeBeau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Loz Strife!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife moves in looking to clinch but LeBeau pushes him off.
LeBeau looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Strife is fending him off so far but LeBeau persists. Nope, Strife circles away and we're back to standing.
Strife doesn't manage to clinch there - LeBeau circles away.
Strife blocks a head kick by LeBeau.
LeBeau will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
LeBeau swats away the attempt to clinch by Strife.
LeBeau shoots in and drives through. Strife sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Remy LeBeau. That's going to take a lot out of him.
LeBeau throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strife.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

LeBeau pushes Strife up against the cage in a clinch.
Strife tries to land knees in the clinch but LeBeau avoids the damage to the body.

LeBeau jumps into guard, dragging Strife to the mat.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
LeBeau controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Strife bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in LeBeau's guard.

LeBeau looking to hit a scissor sweep but Strife is one step ahead there.
LeBeau knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Strife on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Strife stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LeBeau swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
LeBeau wants to sweep but no luck.
LeBeau on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if LeBeau tries to get out of the position.

Strife is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Strife is pushing down on LeBeau's leg trying to pass to half guard. LeBeau is fighting to maintain full guard but Strife has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
LeBeau is trying to stand back up but Strife is controlling him

Strife is working for a kimura but LeBeau is defending it quite comfortably.
Strife not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Loz Strife will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Strife takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
LeBeau throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Strife darts in trying to clinch

and LeBeau counters with a takedown into side control.
Strife sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Strife manages to get to full guard.
Strife not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
LeBeauis looking to pass into half guard but Strife pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Strife is in guard.

Strife drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Strife jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

LeBeau has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Strife has passed into side control.
LeBeau can't do much from the bottom here.
LeBeau is looking to regain half guard here but Strife keeps moving and retains side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
LeBeau stops Strife from passing to mount.

Strife tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Strife advances nicely into full mount.

LeBeau suckers Strife into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! LeBeau is now in Strife's guard!

Strife is looking for a triangle but LeBeau pushes his legs off easily.
LeBeau wants to stand and escape but instead Strife has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
LeBeau can't keep his opponent in guard - Strife advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
LeBeau won't allow Strife to pass to mount.

Strife is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so LeBeau is just riding it out for now. Strife eventually gives up the hold.

Strife is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Loz Strife showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


LeBeau scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
LeBeau blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

LeBeau wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as LeBeau takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Strife misses with an elbow strike.
LeBeau is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Strife gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Strife drops back looking for a leg! LeBeau is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LeBeau manages to kick Strife off! Strife jumps back into LeBeau's guard.
Strife takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Strife sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed LeBeau's guard.
LeBeau controlling the position for now.
Loz Strife has got the better of the ground game so far.
LeBeau tries to get to full guard but Strife has control of the leg.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
LeBeau is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
LeBeau trying to control but Strife postures up.
Strife is pressing down on LeBeau's thigh, looking to free his foot. LeBeau is holding on for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
LeBeau tries to escape the position.
Strife is trying to control but LeBeau is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

Strife looking to secure an arm triangle but LeBeau defends it well.
LeBeau is desperately trying to improve his position but Strife has a good base and remains in mount.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Loz Strife.
I've got Strife winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
