Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Walter Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CheraCu Tarraqueta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CheraCu Tarraqueta will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tarraqueta gets a clinch.
Lowe fails to pull guard.
Tarraqueta is trying to push Lowe away but Lowe has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Tarraqueta turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tarraqueta manages to end up in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lowe is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tarraqueta manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Tarraqueta takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lowe lands a right hand.
Lowe tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tarraqueta just stands there and leans against the cage.

Tarraqueta pushes off an throws an elbow but Lowe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Lowe wants the takedown. Tarraqueta is fighting it off but Lowe persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tarraqueta's guard against the cage.
Walter Lowe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
CheraCu Tarraqueta is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
