PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Bimbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arto Muna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kimbo Bimbo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arto Muna!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bimbo shoots for a double leg takedown but Muna sprawls well. He's pushed Bimbo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bimbo closes the distance and clinches up with Muna, looking for a takedown. Bimbo pushes Muna against the cage but Muna circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bimbo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimbo Bimbo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bimbo is breathing heavily.
Bimbo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muna's waist but Muna gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bimbo off to one side.
Bimbo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Muna tries to avoid it but Bimbo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Muna to the ground. Muna escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A left lands for Muna.

It looks like Kimbo Bimbo has been cut.
Muna getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bimbo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Bimbo is rocked!
Muna cracks Bimbo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bimbo falls backwards against the cage. Muna follows up with more strikes that drop Bimbo to his knees. Muna keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bimbo! This one is all over!
