Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Riberio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matthews comes into the arena with Chaos is my life blaring out of the sound system. Dave Matthews has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews connects with a crisp jab.
Riberio with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Matthews counter with a right hand.
Matthews gets tackled into the cage by Riberio. Riberio maintains the clinch.
Matthews doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Matthews softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Matthews tries a knee to the head but Riberio blocks it.
Riberio is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Matthews can't fight it off and eventually Riberio manages to take the fight to the floor. Matthews looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Matthews working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Riberio doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Riberio manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Riberio is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Matthews is pulling down on Riberio's head. It's preventing any offense from Riberio, at least for the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alexandre Riberio hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Riberio pushes a forearm under Matthews's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Matthews is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Alexandre Riberio tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
