Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Finn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arial Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Von Bondies - C'mon c'mon. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Finn, as that shot connected.
Jones looks to land a body kick but Finn moved away.
Finn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Finn misses with a body shot.
A jab from Finn finds it's way through Jones's defenses.
Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Finn wants to control but Jones postures up.
Finn manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jones is thwarting Finn's attempts to control the position.
Jones wants to take a breather but Finn is having none of it.
Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Finn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Finn, into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Finn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Finn's head.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Poor strikes thrown by Jones there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
