The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bear throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bear lands a lovely overhand right.
Zimmermann throws a series of punches but Bear avoids them all with ease.
Bear lands with a nice combination. Zimmermann backs away looking to recover.
Bear uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Zimmermann counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bear's guard now.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
