The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuma closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cortes circles away.
Cortes works Fuma's body with a nice hook.
Cortes scores with a hook to the body. Fuma takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sloppy strikes from Cortes. Those never looked like landing.
Ferdinand Cortes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuma doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cortes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fuma on the side of the head.
