The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pankov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Dick counters with a straight right hand.
Dick lands a jab to Pankov's midsection.
Dick closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pankov takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Dick looks up at the clock and then as Pankov takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dick smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Dick lands a nice forearm strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dick is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pankov's shoulder. That is not cool.
Dick scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pankov is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Dick can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Dick!
