Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harland Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Conger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Harland Sanders has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harland Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Conger!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sanders lands a body shot.
Sanders misses with a double jab.
Conger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanders swivels and escapes.
Sanders dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Conger on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Sanders tries to clinch up.
Sanders fails with an attempt to clinch.
Conger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanders tries to avoid it but Conger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanders to the ground. Sanders escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Conger takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sanders fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sanders lands with a shot to the body.
Conger throws a low kick but Sanders moves out of range easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sanders looks to land a left hand but Conger moved out of range nicely.

A combination from Sanders does no damage.
Conger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanders.

Conger looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Sanders looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Conger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Conger working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Conger trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanders is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Conger is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Josh Conger has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Sanders throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sanders jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sanders displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sanders lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Conger backs up against the cage.
Conger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sanders but Sanders pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Conger dives in and scores a takedown into Sanders's guard.
Conger trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Conger's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Conger trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanders is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Conger throws a strike but Sanders rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Conger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanders is one step ahead there.

Conger wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanders wants to stand but Conger has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Sanders with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sanders not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sanders lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck for Conger with that takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A jab from Sanders finds it's way through Conger's defenses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sanders stuns Conger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Conger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanders pinned against the cage. Sanders gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Conger on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Conger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sanders sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Sanders is controlling Conger's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Conger looks to land a strike but Sanders avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Conger tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanders is retaining full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Josh Conger hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Conger throws a solid leg kick but Sanders takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Conger.
Sanders misses with a jab, cross combination.
Conger throws a right and a left that both miss.
Conger gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sanders lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Sanders closes the distance and pushes Conger back into the cage.
Sanders makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Sanders lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.


Conger is rocked!
Sanders has had enough of the clinch but Conger keeps him there for the moment.
Conger is still on wobbly legs! Can Sanders finish him?
Sanders misses with a hook to the ribs.
Conger seems to have recovered his senses.
Conger is trying to force a seperation but Sanders has the dominant position.
A right hook to the body lands for Sanders.
Sanders lands a left hand.
Sanders lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Conger.

Sanders breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Conger has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Conger there as he acknowledges the shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sanders lands a head shot.
Nice uppercut there from Sanders.
Conger on the wrong end of a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harland Sanders dominated that second round.
That's time! Sanders's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Sanders closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Conger out cold! Conger corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
