Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitar Miric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miric has chosen Slaki- Evo ti sve i idi as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohamed Ahmed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitar Miric!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miric cracks Ahmed with an open hand slap.
Miric connects with a right hand. Ahmed shakes it off.
Ahmed staying out of range there.
Miric swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Miric throws a jab when Ahmed was well out of range.

Ahmed clinches with his opponent.
Miric wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ahmed has him pressed against the cage.

Miric breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ahmed looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Miric cracks Ahmed with an open hand slap.
Miric has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ahmed is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ahmed fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mitar Miric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ahmed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Miric.
Miric's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ahmed under the eye.
Miric misses with a body shot.
Miric with a body punch. A glancing blow.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ahmed.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ahmed tries to clinch there but Miric circles away.
Miric comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ahmed shoots in looking for a takedown. Miric tries to sprawl out of it but Ahmed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miric manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohamed Ahmed. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miric lands a big uppercut and Ahmed crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ahmed looks OK. Miric waves Ahmed back to his feet!

Ahmed is rocked!

It looks like Mohamed Ahmed has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miric throws out a loose jab but Ahmed uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mitar Miric is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Miric lands a slapping body shot.
Ahmed is breathing heavily.
Miric lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Ahmed out cold! Ahmed is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
