Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ayrton Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Posnovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Posnovich has chosen Colin Hay - Overkill as his entrance music. Marcus Posnovich acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ayrton Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Posnovich!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Posnovich fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lewis changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lewis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lewis throws a hook but Posnovich blocks it.
Posnovich is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've been hearing reports that Lewis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Posnovich is looking to control Lewis's arms but Lewis gets an underhook and turns him. Now Posnovich has his back to the cage.

Posnovich has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lewis clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
You can see the frustration on Lewis's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Posnovich controlling the position well here. Lewis rolled but Posnovich kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lewis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
