Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Els (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Buffet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Els comes to the cage accompanied by Chamillionaire - Don't Shoot. Buffet has chosen Margaritaville as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buffet drives through and clinches with Els against the cage.

I was talking to Els's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Els uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Buffet has time to react.

Els throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Buffet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Els paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Buffet swings for the body but Els moves out of range.

Buffet thows a left - swing and a miss!
Buffet connects with a nice looking jab.
Els sends Buffet crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Els is motioning to the referee to let Buffet up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Els stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Buffet.
Els lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Els counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Buffet is out cold! A devastating KO!

A less than humble Ernie Els misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
