Williams kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Celebration by Kool and the Gang. Oath is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fuck your guts out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Oath!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a low kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Oath.
Oath connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Williams has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Original Nemesis Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Williams thows a body shot but no joy.
Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Oath has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Williams on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Oath. Oath obviously looking to wear him down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oath was well out of range. Poor timing from Williams.

Oath misses with a head kick.

Oath tried to score with a low kick but Williams checks it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oath moves away.

A chopping leg kick lands by Oath.
Kane Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams looks to land a combination. Oath sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams throws a front kick aimed at Oath's knee but Oath avoids it well.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Oath has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A slapping leg kick lands for Oath.
Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oath throws a leg kick but Williams sees it coming and moves out of range.
Williams wants to land a leg kick but Oath is out of range.

Oath misses with a straight left.
Oath throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oath misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.

Oath fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Williams is out of range.
Oath throws a push kick but Williams slaps the foot to one side.

Williams drops Oath with a right and a left! Williams comes rushing in but Oath regains his composure and manages to keep Williams in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams wants to stand but Oath has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Oath is still in real trouble! Can Williams finish him?
Oath seems to have recovered his senses.

Williams postures up.
Williams is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kane Williams wasn't doing enough on the ground.
A nice inside leg kick there by Oath. That's going to slow Williams down.
Williams cracks the inside of Oath's front leg.
A jab from Williams misses.
Good exchange - Oath coming out on top.
Oath throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Williams throws a quick inside leg kick.
Williams tries to work over Oath's front leg with a kick but Oath checks it.
Williams takes a shot right to the bread basket.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ken Oath will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oath moves away.
Oath thows a body shot but no joy.

Oath sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Williams to the ground! Oath dives into full mount looking to finish!

Williams is working to get back to half guard.

Williams is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Williams is bucking up trying to escape but Oath cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oath is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Oh Williams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oath lands a big elbow - Williams is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Williams is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ken Oath!
As Ken Oath got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Na Na Na Naaa, Na Na Na Naaa, Hey Hey.. Goodnight.. Fuck off Li.. you ain't got shit. '.
The defeated Kane Williams had this to say: 'Aw hell no.'.
