The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matlock clobbers Hardacre with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Matlock lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hardacre has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hardacre there as he acknowledges the shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Matlock misses the target.

Whack! Hardacre lands a heavy head kick that drops Matlock. The ref tackles Hardacre to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Matlock was done.

Damian Hardacre was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
