PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between TJ Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Chunqiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Maximus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Time Is Running Out. Chunqiao is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: You Can't Be Friends With Everyone by MAKE OUT. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chunqiao fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Maximus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maximus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chunqiao counters with a left to the body.

Maximus fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Chunqiao has taken the fight to the clinch.
Maximus is trying to break the clinch but Chunqiao has him pressed against the cage.
Maximus is trying to force a seperation but Chunqiao has the dominant position.

Chunqiao pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maximus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chunqiao counters with a left and a right that stings Maximus.

Chunqiao gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Maximus is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Chunqiao breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Maximus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maximus lands with a nice combination. Chunqiao backs away looking to recover.
