Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joonas Mustonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl feat. Georgi Kay - In My Mind as his entrance music. Joonas Mustonen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustonen throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range.
Mustonen misses with a double jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Smith has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mustonen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but Mustonen persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Mustonen's temple.

Mustonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joonas Mustonen will probably get the nod.
