The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Xavier quickly recovers to half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Joe trying to control from half guard but Xavier is working away.

Joe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Xavier is just riding it out for now. Joe eventually gives up the hold.
