The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manel moves out of range as Martin strikes.
Manel fails with the takedown
and Martin counters with a takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Manel tries to buck Martin off but Martin is having none of it.
Martin tries to move into full mount but can't pass Manel's legs.
Manel is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at immortals, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Manel is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Martin 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Martin loads up with a big shot that hurts Manel! He's pulled Martin in close but Martin has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Manel survive? More strikes from Martin and Manel is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
