Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alvin Ray Dunkin!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Serra drops his hands momentarily and Dunkin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.


It looks like Alexandre Ferreira Da Serra has been cut.

Alvin Ray Dunkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dunkin lands a nice shot that snaps Da Serra's head back.

Dunkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Da Serra drops back looking for a leg! Dunkin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dunkin manages to kick Da Serra off! Da Serra jumps back into Dunkin's guard.
Dunkin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dunkin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Da Serra defends well.

After the fight, Alexandre Ferreira Da Serra was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
