Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agent 47 (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrus Laane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laane has chosen Sans Pression - Numero 1 as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrus Laane!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laane doesn't manage to clinch there - 47 circles away.
47 punishes Laane's body with a nice straight punch.
Laane fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Laane tries to close the distance and clinch but 47 swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Laane changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Laane throws a quick head kick that skims the top of 47's head.
Laane loads up on a big right hand but 47 slips the punch.

We've been told by 47's head coaches at Stu's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

47 shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Laane is trying to defend but 47 finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Andrus Laane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
47 keeps the fight on the outside.
No joy there for Laane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
47 attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

47 with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

47 has control of Laane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Laane regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Laane tries to hold on but 47 pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
47 lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
47 wants to control the pace but Laane is squirming around nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Agent 47 will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
