Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Cat!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dixon darts in and clinches Cat up against the cage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tom Cat hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dixon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dixon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
