Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaime Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Defoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rory Defoe looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bryan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Defoe quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Defoe has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bryan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Defoe.
