Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yun Fat Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davy Vosne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yun Fat Chow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Davy Vosne!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vosne defending well as Chow loads up on a big left hand.
Chow blocks a jab.
Vosne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chow was well out of range. Poor timing from Vosne.
Chow throws a combination that misses
and Vosne counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Vosne throws a body punch but Chow moves out of range.
Chow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vosne stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vosne lands with a good body shot.
We've been informed that Vosne has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Vosne connects with a nice looking jab.
Vosne misses with a body punch
and Chow counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vosne throws an overhand right that lands on Chow's shoulder, as Chow tries to avoid the shot.
Vosne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chow closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Vosne lands a head shot.
Vosne misses with a looping left.
Vosne throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chow sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Vosne shoots in looking for a takedown. Chow tries to sprawl out of it but Vosne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vosne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chow circles away quickly and effectively.
Vosne looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Vosne uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chow.

Vosne misses the body punch
and Chow counters with a nice body shot.
Nice defenses there by Chow.

Chow fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vosne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vosne has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vosne there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chow lands a glancing blow to the side of Vosne's head.
A left lands for Chow.
Chow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vosne.
Chow on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vosne, as that shot connected.
Vosne fails with a takedown attempt.
Chow throws the left hand but Vosne avoids the punch easily.
Yun Fat Chow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vosne drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Chow falls off balance throwing a combination
and Vosne counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chow gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chow lands an overhand right.
Chow lands with a straight right. Vosne didn't see that one coming.
Chow slips a jab from Vosne.
Chow swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Vosne.
Chow misses with an uppercut. Vosne saw that one coming.
Vosne uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chow.

Chow lands a left and a right that send Vosne crashing to the mat, dazed. Chow thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Vosne is rocked!


It looks like Davy Vosne has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chow clinches up against the cage.
Vosne is still on wobbly legs! Can Chow finish him?
Chow throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Vosne seems to have recovered his senses.

Vosne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vosne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chow sprawls well. Chow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vosne gets slowly back to his feet.
Yun Fat Chow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davy Vosne.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vosne displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chow throws out the jab.
Vosne lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Vosne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chow ducks under a wild hook from Vosne.
Vosne looks to throw the jab but Chow is out of range.
Chow slips a jab and a cross from Vosne.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chow tries to close the distance and clinch but Vosne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Chow jabs Vosne right on the nose. Vosne blinks but takes it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yun Fat Chow dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Davy Vosne's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Chow gets caught flat footed, as Vosne shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Vosne throwing strikes from guard but Chow blocks nicely.

Vosne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vosne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Vosne chips away with some ground and pound.
Chow wants to sweep but no luck.

Vosne keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chow's head.
Vosne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Chow is pulling down on Vosne's head to control his posture.
Vosne postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Vosne is working Chow over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yun Fat Chow has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Vosne swings for the body but Chow moves out of range.
Yun Fat Chow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vosne has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Chow counters with a series of strikes. Vosne will be more careful next time no doubt.

Chow drops Vosne with a beautiful combination! Vosne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Chow is looking for the KO!

Vosne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chow moves away.

Chow is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Vosne like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Vosne from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yun Fat Chow!
