The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt shoots for a takedown but Farnworth saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Farnworth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Holt takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Greg Holt has been cut.

Farnworth gets a double leg takedown into Holt's guard.

Holt is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Farnworth blocks an uppercut.
Holt is trying to drag Farnworth to the mat but Farnworth just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Holt avoids the elbow strike from Farnworth, against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Farnworth just misses with a elbow thrown towards Holt's brow.

Farnworth turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Farnworth manages to end up in side control.

Farnworth is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Holt has escaped the position, nice work there.
Farnworth is trying to ground and pound but Holt uses the momentary lack of control by Farnworth to regain half guard.
