And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Petrov!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan jabs Petrov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Petrov throws an off balance right hand
and Jordan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Petrov thinking.
Jordan scores with a spinning back kick!
Jordan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Petrov.
Petrov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jordan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jordan blocks a leg kick.
Petrov misses with a looping right.
Jordan misses with a kick to the body.
Petrov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jordan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Petrov misses with a body kick.
Petrov moves into the clinch.
Petrov misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jordan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Petrov misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jordan misses with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Petrov fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petrov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jordan's efforts to push away.
Jordan blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Petrov tries to score a body lock takedown but Jordan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jordan lands with a left to the head.
Jordan misses with a body punch.
Jordan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jordan cracks Petrov with an open hand slap.
Petrov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jordan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jordan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jordan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Vladimir Petrov has been cut.
Joe Jordan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Petrov tries to clinch but Jordan is having none of it.
No luck for Petrov with that takedown attempt.
Petrov tries to land a front kick but Jordan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jordan sends Petrov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jordan is motioning to the referee to let Petrov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Petrov swings widly with a right hand
and Jordan scores with a counter punch that sends Petrov to the canvas! Jordan smells blood - he's punishing Petrov with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Petrov has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Jordan!
