Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titus Raptis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenneth Boyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Titus Raptis!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raptis wants to clinch.

Raptis closes the distance and pushes Boyer back into the cage.
Raptis tries to throw a body punch but Boyer avoids it by throwing Raptis back against the cage.
Boyer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Raptis smiles and moves away.

Raptis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Boyer!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Boyer is trying to control Raptis's posture but Raptis avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raptis trying to control the action but Boyer is working from the bottom.
Boyer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Raptis has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Raptis controlling from side mount.

Raptis decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Raptis looks winded!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Raptis scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Raptis decides to stand back up.
Raptis tries to clinch up
and Boyer counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Raptis is lucky that one didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boyer lands with a kick to the temple. Raptis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Boyer tries a head kick but it misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boyer throws a sloppy head kick and Raptis moves out of range easily.

Raptis scores with a takedown into Boyer's guard.
Raptis advances position into side control!
Raptis working the ground and pound but Boyer is defending the strikes.
Raptis advances nicely into full mount.
Raptis looking to control and managing it successfully.

Raptis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Boyer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Boyer!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boyer wants to stand but Raptis is controlling his posture from full guard.

Boyer stands up and waves to Raptis to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raptis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boyer.
Boyer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Raptis misses with a combination

and Boyer counters by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyer blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Raptis is trying to break free.
Raptis is breathing heavily.

Boyer tries to score a body lock takedown but Raptis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Raptis wants to get back to striking at distance but Boyer won't allow it.

Raptis manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Boyer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Raptis's guard.

Boyer stands up and waves to Raptis to follow him.
Raptis fails with an attempt to clinch.

Raptis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've been informed that Raptis has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Boyer is trying to stand.
Raptis stalling away here and it's allowed Boyer to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raptis gets to his feet - Boyer follows without any prompting.
Raptis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boyer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boyer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Raptis takes a kick to the side of the head.
Boyer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boyer blocks a leg kick.
Boyer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Raptis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Boyer to the ground. Raptis is now in Boyer's guard.

Boyer scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Raptis tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Boyer counters with a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boyer lands with a slapping head kick.

Raptis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boyer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Raptis is looking to take a break and control but Boyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boyer wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Raptis decides to stand up, so the ref orders Boyer to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Titus Raptis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Boyer wants to stand up but Raptis is controlling him.

Boyer working for submissions but it's allowed Raptis to get to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Raptis controlling the pace.

Boyer tries to kick Raptis off in order to stand up. Raptis Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Raptis stands up.

Raptis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Raptis just content to control the position.
You can see the frustration on Boyer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boyer wants to get back to his feet.
Raptis throws a strike aimed at the side of Boyer's head but Boyer avoids it well.
Raptis is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Raptis stands up.

Raptis dives in and scores a takedown into Boyer's guard.

Boyer is working an open guard so Raptis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Raptis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Raptis works to advance to full mount. Boyer defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Raptis looking to secure an arm triangle but Boyer defends it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Raptis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Boyer is on top in guard.

Boyer stands up and waves to Raptis to follow him.
Kenneth Boyer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Titus Raptis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Raptis shoots in and gets a takedown into Boyer's guard.

Titus Raptis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Raptis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
