PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gennakin Golovdy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Golovdy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to A New Beginning by Audiomachine. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golovdy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hardys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hardy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Golovdy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Golovdy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Golovdy cracks Hardy with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hardy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Golovdy catches Hardy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Golovdy throws a series of strikes that have Hardy backpedaling.
Sloppy strikes from Hardy. Those never looked like landing.
Golovdy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hardy momentarily.
Hardy is looking to clinch but Golovdy is avoiding it.
Hardy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Golovdy.
Nice defenses there by Hardy.
Golovdy lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Golovdy circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hardy to the canvas! Hardy doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Golovdy keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
