The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huff shoots in and drives through. Barral sprawls well.
Paulo Barral seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barral lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huff circles away quickly and effectively.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Barral has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Huff shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barral napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Barral is working to tighten his grip on Huff's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Huff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Barral is really squeezing tight and eventually Huff passes out! Barral breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
