Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksey Olqynik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amos Chertok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Olqynik.
Chertok misses with a few strikes there.
Olqynik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chertok tries to avoid it but Olqynik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chertok to the ground. Chertok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chertok throws a left and a right that both miss
and Olqynik counters with a good low kick that Chertok was not able to check.
Chertok fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Chertok pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Olqynik shoots for a double leg takedown but Chertok sprawls well. He's pushed Olqynik's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Chertok clinches up against the cage.

Chertok has Olqynik pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chertok pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Olqynik tumbling to the mat - Chertok dives into Olqynik's guard.
Olqynik is pulling down on Chertok's head. It's preventing any offense from Chertok, at least for the moment.

Olqynik manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Chertok is wriggling around trying to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chertok can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chertok is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Chertok is working to get back to half guard.
Chertok is trying to stand.
Chertok tries to hold on but Olqynik pushes him away.

Chertok wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Olqynik.
Olqynik unloads with some shots from mount but Chertok bucks and avoids them well.

Chertok is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
Olqynik wants to control the pace but Chertok is squirming around nicely.
Chertok can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chertok wants to hold on but Olqynik pushes him away.

Olqynik lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Chertok hang on?

Chertok tries to lock up and control but Olqynik gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Chertok bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Olqynik controls Chertok momentarily but Chertok frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Amos Chertok will probably get the nod.

Olqynik is stalling here. Chertok is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Olqynik seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Chertok has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
