Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pozar Pozar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pozar's choice of entrance music: z Buta Wjeżdzam. Pozar Pozar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pozar Pozar!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozar tries to close the distance and clinch but Carvalho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Carvalho shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pozar is trying to defend but Carvalho finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pozar gets full guard.
Carvalho passes into half guard.
Carvalho winds up and cracks Pozar with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Pozar wants to control the action here but instead Carvalho manages to pass to full mount!
Pozar is wriggling around trying to escape.

Carvalho slips a nice elbow through Pozar's hands, connecting with Pozar's forehead.

Carvalho is trying to work for a kimura but Pozar is defending well.
Pozar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carvalho has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pozar wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carvalho is looking for a kimura but Pozar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carvalho to get the leverage.
Pozar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carvalho is working away from the top position though.
Pozar is staying active underneath Carvalho, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pozar is bucking up trying to escape but Carvalho cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Carvalho looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Pozar sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Pozar is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Carvalho has latched onto it... Big trouble! Carvalho pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Pozar is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Carvalho!
