Boycheck's coach down at St Petersburg MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boycheck's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bonapart will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Napoleon Bonapart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boycheck pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bonapart throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Boycheck counters with a single leg into guard. Bonapart didn't expect that.

Bonapart manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boycheck manages to get himself to full guard.

Bonapart is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Boycheck looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bonapart gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Boycheck is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bonapart lets go of the hold and Boycheck can pop his arm back in it's socket.
