The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Hardy as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Chick Bowdrie has been cut.
Bowdrie thows a body kick. Hardy tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Hardy lands a really nice looking cross but Bowdrie seems unphased.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bowdrie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hardy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bowdrie was well out of range. Poor timing from Hardy.
Bowdrie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hardy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bowdrie moves away.
Hardy connects with a body shot.
Bowdrie's corner calls for a 1-2. Bowdrie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Clint Hardy has been cut.
Bowdrie moves away from the strike by Hardy.
Hardy fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bowdrie is out of range.
Bowdrie throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bowdrie defending well as Hardy loads up on a big left hand.
Bowdrie lands a really nice looking cross but Hardy seems unphased.
Bowdrie cracks Hardy with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bowdrie sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Hardy to the ground! Bowdrie dives into full mount looking to finish!
Hardy is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bowdrie lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Hardy! Bowdrie sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Hardy and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
