Barnaby is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cryin' like a bitch - Godsmack. Matthew Barnaby has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Masters !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matthew Barnaby!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Barnaby has time to react.
Ken Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masters takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Masters postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

My spies in Xtreme MMA inform me that Barnaby has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
