And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pennypacker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pennypacker moves away.
Jones Jr fails to land the takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pennypacker. Jones Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pennypacker scores with a body shot.
Jones Jr missing with a left hand there. Pennypacker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones Jr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pennypacker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jones Jr at a distance.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pennypacker.
Jones Jr gets tackled into the cage by Pennypacker. Pennypacker maintains the clinch.

Jones Jr is trying to push Pennypacker away but Pennypacker has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pennypacker lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Pennypacker prevents Jones Jr from breaking the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pennypacker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Pennypacker pushes Jones Jr back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Pennypacker lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones Jr backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Pennypacker.
Jones Jr is breathing heavily.
Pennypacker throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pennypacker cracks Jones Jr with a nice body shot.
Pennypacker lands a nice uppercut.

Pennypacker lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jones Jr to his knees! Pennypacker keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). AG Pennypacker!
AG Pennypacker got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
In defeat, Marlon Jones Jr stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fuck this shit man!'.
