Yakiyama is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enya - Adiemus. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adamson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Yakiyama looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Yakiyama looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Yakiyama!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Adamson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Yakiyama asserts his dominance and retains side control.
