The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuart moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Stuart fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Stuart connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cusano momentarily.
Cusano on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Stuart shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Cusano is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stuart is aware though and is defending well.

We've been hearing good reports from Cusano's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
