Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Delasio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan shoots in looking for a takedown but Delasio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jordan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Delasio throws a shot from downtown. Jordan moves away and avoids it.
Jordan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Delasio sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jordan somewhat.
Jordan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Delasio pinned against the cage. Delasio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Jordan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No joy there for Delasio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A slow jab from Delasio misses its intended target.
Jordan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jordan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Delasio circles away.

We're going to have a standup here because Chris Jordan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Delasio tries to land a leg kick but Jordan saw it coming and moves away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jordan shoots in for a takedown but Delasio shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jordan has an Americana. Delasio didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jordan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jordan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
