The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxiq misses the shot to the body.
Carroll with a jab.
Maxiq throws a big shot that misses.
Silvean Maxiq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maxiq takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Carroll steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maxiq.
Maxiq misses with a straight right.
Carroll uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Maxiq.
Maxiq throws an off balance right hand
and Carroll counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Maxiq is rocked!
Carroll connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Maxiq covering up! Carroll comes in with a big uppercut and Maxiq goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
