The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Richie as he avoids it easily.
Khan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Richie defends it nicely.
Khan shoots in for a takedown but Richie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
James Richie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rohan Khan.

Khan is pressed up against the cage. Richie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khan down to the mat. Khan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Khan wants to get back to his feet but Richie is dominant here and he's now got Khan's back!
